Baby's 1st Clemson Visit

I began looking forward to instilling my undying love & affection for Clemson into my children long before I was even pregnant. Some of my fondest memories lie in those "hills"and I can only pray my kids have such a special college experience some day! The Spring Game has been a tradition for me and my roommate during college and all the years since. It was going to be a girls trip until hubby decided to tag along at the last minute. {undercover Clemson enthusiast}

1 Month Old

Our sweet Finlay is a month old! My heart aches for time to stand still or at least slow down, it's going by SO fast! I'm doing my very best to embrace each and every moment, even the difficult ones. And difficult moments are abundant to say the least! I find myself repeating the lyrics to "It Won't Be This Way For Long" over and over again in my head while trying to calm my screaming baby in the middle of the night. No matter how long and trying the nights may be, though, the daylight always brings me a brighter outlook and renewed love for this infant stage. Each day she changes and discovers something new and we are seeing less and less of a newborn. We have caught a few smiles and even a glimpse of a dimple {melt!}. Her head control gets stronger every day. I love making faces at her and watching her try to imitate me. She's particularly skilled at sticking her tongue out:)
