Our First Week as a Family of 4

Our first week as a family of four was such a dream! It occurred to me that my husband and I both being home for 10 days with our 2 babies during our favorite time of year was not something we will experience again, so we made the very most of it!

So much fun to be had at Clinton Sease Farms!

Sweet boy snoozing away. Side note: this may be Mac's only time wearing anything smocked, as Lee nearly wouldn't leave the house with his boy wearing "that dress". Sorry Mom...I think it's adorable.

The cuteness of these two is too much to handle sometimes!

What a perfect first week as a family of four. We are tired and there have been more than a few tough moments, but above all we feel so blessed & love this new normal.

McCollum Legare Clarke

Forty long weeks & 28 pounds later, our precious little boy made his appearance on October 9th at 1:20 in the afternoon. While I was miserable the entire 9 months of pregnancy, labor & delivery could not have been easier! McCollum is Lee's middle name and grandmother's maiden name. Legare comes from the Legare Waring House, where we got married and hold so many dear memories that will live on not just in our hearts but in our baby boy's name:o)

A whopping 8 pounds and 10 ounces of perfection.

I didn't know my heart could be any more full or that I had any more love to give, but this sweet little surprise was part of His plan all along-the perfect addition to our family!

Finlay has been the center of our world for the last 19 months, and I was scared of how adding another would change that. I worried how her little heart would feel having to share Mommy & Daddy. And while we've had our share of meltdowns {that I know have only just begun}, she adores her little brother.
